2D Shooter
This is my 2D Shooter Project. The name of my game is "Space Pugna". I have made three significant modifications as required by the assignment and other minor modifications.
Significant Modifications:
- Player Movement Speed increases by 3 units (starting from 10) for every enemy killed. This is meant to reward the player for good gameplay.
- Designed three levels in the game with Level 1 being easy, Level 2 being moderate and Level 3 being difficult. Introduced enemy spawners in Level 3 to increase the difficulty of gameplay. Level 2 has increased enemy chasers from level 1
- Enemy movement speed (only for chasers) can also increase by 1.5 units (starting from 5) as one of its kind gets destroyed by the player. This helps the enemy reach the player quicker and increases the difficulty of gameplay. Enemy speed increments happen only in Level 2 and Level 3. Level 1 has no enemy speed increments as it is meant to be an easy level.
Other Modifications:
- Added Player and Enemy Movement Speed text displays which actively displays the current speed of the player and chasing enemies.
- Added the "Retry" button in addition to the "Main Menu" buttons when a player loses a level. This "Retry" option gives the player an option to retry the failed level.
